Founded in January 2019, Pinup Bridal was born out of a passion to do more than serve clients behind the chair. We wanted to stand beside them on the most important day of their lives. What started within the doors of Pinup Studio in Raleigh, NC has since grown into a nationally recognized, on-location and in-studio bridal beauty team trusted by over 500+ brides and counting.

We are proud to offer an inclusive, high-touch bridal hair and makeup experience led by a diverse team of licensed artists, each hand-selected for their skill, reliability, and dedication to their craft. From natural, soft glam to full vintage pin-up looks, our stylists are trained in a wide range of styles to beautifully serve brides of all backgrounds, skin tones, and hair types.

Born and raised right here in Raleigh, Christina always had a love for all things beauty, transformation, the confidence boost, and the way it brings people together. What started as a dream behind the chair to open a salon has grown from Pinup Studio, a salon focusing on cuts, color & extensions has welcomed our sister company Pinup Bridal, a space where our team gets to be part of one of the most special days of your life. For Christina, it’s not just about gorgeous hair and flawless makeup. It’s about creating an experience that feels easy, joyful, and personal from the first email to the last dance. Raleigh is her home, and building a business that pours love back into this community is what lights her up every single day.

Whitney has been in the beauty industry her whole life! She’s a third-generation cosmetologist who grew up a salon kid. After getting her professional license in 2017, she decided to pursue multiple avenues in the beauty industry. In 2020, Whitney decided to dedicate her skills and passion to the bridal industry. With her meticulous
organization and efficiency, she ensures a stress-free and seamless experience for our
brides.
She loves everything about bridal hair and makeup, from coordinating to crafting. She’s a talented makeup artist and bridal glam hype woman committed to handling all of your bridal beauty needs. She is behind the emails, the details – and sometimes behind the brushes!

Pinup Bridal FAQs

Our service pages outline our starting at prices. With that in mind, everyone’s style and budget are different, so we would want to do a consultation with you to discuss what it is that you’re looking for, and then we can discuss pricing. Please email [email protected] for a consultation!

Payment processing is done online via Honey Book. We will process a card once upon contract signing and another payment one month prior to your event.

The payment can only be made with one credit card and can not be split between wedding party members.

The amount of time your hair and makeup will take depends on several different factors. We allot 30 – 45 minutes for wedding party members and 45 minutes – 1 hour for the Bride.

The standard service booking is 6 services. Any party not reaching a minimum of 6 services will be subjected to an additional small party fee.

The sooner the better when it comes to booking! Especially during wedding season, things get filled up fast and we want to ensure we get you on the books when you need! We do recommend booking 9-12 months prior to your wedding date.

We’re happy to come to you! Every bride’s travel fee is customized & includes a complimentary 10-mile radius from our home studio in North Raleigh, NC.

Please come with clean, dry hair. Washing your hair 24 hours in advance is absolutely fine!

This all depends on how many services are in your party and what your time frame is.

With Pinup Bridal, there is no need to have your hair done prior to wedding day. We will meet you on-site the same day and have you looking fabulous just in time!

Strip lashes are optional but come with all makeup applications!

Hair color is a personal choice, but we typically recommend scheduling your color appointment about one week prior to your wedding day. This gives your hair time to settle, the cuticle to close, and ensures you’re fully happy with the tone and vibrancy before styling. To make it even easier, brides and bridal party members receive 15% off hair services at Pinup Studio leading up to the big day, perfect for refreshing your color, adding dimension, or simply getting that healthy, just-glossed glow.

They can certainly help depending on the style you’re looking for! This can all be discussed further at your trial and our professionals will be happy to color match you at that time for extensions!

We would love if you would bring 2-3 inspiration pictures with you!

YES! Please don’t be afraid to ask for a touch-up if you feel like you need one! We’ll ensure everyone is good to go before we leave!

If you are interested in having someone stay on site after the initial services are completed for touch-ups, there is a $100 hourly fee per stylist for staying on site.

Headcount is due when the contract is signed and the deposit is paid. It is, however, possible to add on services after but we cannot remove them.

You should book your trial 1-3 months prior to your wedding.

We use all different brands of makeup to accommodate ALL skin tones, types, etc. If there is a certain brand you’re looking for, just let us know!
